YEAR 1 - 4 STUDENTS' SHOWCASE
Our Student Showcase program, aims to provide an opportunity for parents to experience what our students have been learning in school across different levels. It also provides a venue for our students to demonstrate their capabilities and presentation skills. By participating in the Showcase presentation, our students learn to develop their soft skills, which are increasingly essential for the 21st century.
Showcase for Year 1 to Year 4 students will be held on Friday, 15 Nov from 3.30 to 5.00 pm.
Parents of students who will be presenting in the Showcase are strongly encouraged to be present at our Showcase, to support your child during his/her performance. At the same time, other parents who wish to attend are also welcome. Please note that not every student will be performing in the Showcase, but every student will have their turn in at least one of the Showcases.
For parents who wish to participate in the Showcase, please sign up by clicking HERE.
We valued your cooperation in registering your attendance, as this will enable us to carry out the program smoothly on the day of the event. We sincerely hope parents will be able to join us on this learning journey, as our students look forward to showcasing their talents at this special learning occasion.

YEAR 6 - 12 SCOUT CAMP
LOY KRATHONG FESTIVAL

We are excited to inform you that as part of our cultural learning program, our school will be engaging students in a special activity on Friday, 15th November to celebrate the Loy Krathong Festival, a traditional Thai festival that honors and pays respect to water.
On this day, all students (Kindergarten to Year 12) will participate in making a krathong, the traditional floating flower garland, which is an essential part of the Loy Krathong celebration. This hands-on activity will not only give the students a deeper understanding of Thai culture but also offer them an opportunity to create their own krathong, which they can proudly take home and float in a nearby water source with family members as part of the celebration.
All materials needed to make the krathongs will be provided by the school, so no additional preparation is required from parents. We hope that this activity will enrich the students' cultural experiences and foster appreciation for Thailand's rich traditions.
We look forward to a fun and educational day as the students come together to celebrate and learn about this important cultural event.
PRE-PREP ART: LETTER F - FISH CREATION
In this week’s Art class, our Pre-Prep students explored the letter "F" through a fun and colorful activity, creating their very own rainbow fish! Students started by selecting a fish template and coloring it with their favorite shades, filling their fish with vibrant, imaginative hues. They then decorated the fish by sticking on cut-out circles for scales, adding texture and a unique flair to each artwork.
The children enjoyed both the coloring and decorating, and by the end of the session, they were delighted with their rainbow fish creations. Seeing their work come to life gave them a real sense of pride, and their smiles showed just how much fun they had bringing the “Letter F” to life in such a creative way!
YEAR 1 MUSIC: PIANO "DO RE MI"
Our Year 1 students have been making wonderful progress in their piano class! This week, they practiced playing the classic “Do-Re-Mi” melody, learning to play each note with both their right and left hands, and even switching between hands to improve coordination and confidence.
To keep the learning interactive, the class moved on to two fun listening activities! In the first activity, the teacher played different notes on the piano, and students had to identify and sing the correct notes in response. This exercise helped them sharpen their ear for pitch-and-match sounds. For the second activity, the class was divided into groups, each representing a different note. When the teacher played a specific note, students in the corresponding group would bend their knees, and as the pace quickened, so did their responses, making for an exciting and energetic rhythm game!
Our young musicians left the class with smiles, mastering new skills and growing their love for music!
YEAR 6 P.E.: BASKETBALL
Our Year 6 students had an action-packed P.E. class this week, focusing on shooting skills! To kick things off, they warmed up with a lap around the track, getting their muscles ready and their energy up. After the warm-up, they gathered around the basketball hoop to learn the basics of shooting. The teacher demonstrated proper hand positioning, stance, and follow-through, explaining how each movement contributes to a successful shot.
With guidance, students practiced their form and aimed for the hoop, working on accuracy and technique. As they gained confidence, they began making shots with greater consistency. By the end of class, our Year 6 students had not only learned the essentials of shooting but also boosted their team spirit and determination on the court!
YEAR 10 MATHS: PARTS OF THE CIRCLE
In this lesson, our Year 10 students revisited Circle Theorems—an important topic in geometry essential for IGCSE exams and practical applications in fields like architecture and engineering. Although they had previously studied these theorems, this session provided a comprehensive review to reinforce their understanding.
Key theorems covered included the Angle at the Center, Angle at the Circumference, and Cyclic Quadrilateral, with each explained through clear examples and visual aids. Students engaged in solving practice questions that mirrored IGCSE exam formats, helping them to identify and avoid common misconceptions. This hands-on review boosted their confidence and problem-solving skills, ensuring they’re well-prepared for both upcoming mock exams and real-world applications of geometry.

AMERICAN MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD (AMO) 2024
Last Saturday, November 2, our school hosted the American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO), welcoming a number of our own students along with participants from various schools across Bangkok. The event saw young mathematicians tackling challenging problems, showcasing their skills and determination. We are eagerly awaiting the results and wish the best of luck to all who participated.
As a proud venue for multiple competitions in math, science, and English, our school continues to provide a platform for academic excellence and collaboration across disciplines.
