SRINAKARIN CAMPUS APPROVAL TO OPERATE
We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our educational journey. This May, the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC) conducted a comprehensive inspection of our soon-to-be-established Srinakrin Campus. This visit was a crucial part of the approval process, aimed at ensuring that our facilities meet the stringent standards set by International School regulations.
During the inspection, OPEC thoroughly evaluated various aspects of our campus, including infrastructure, educational resources, and safety measures. Their assessment was meticulous, focusing on every detail to ensure that we provide an optimal learning environment for our students.
We are delighted to share that on June 7, OPEC officially approved our Srinakrin Campus. According to OPEC, our state-of-the-art facilities will be able to accommodate up to 1,260 students. This approval marks a significant achievement and allows us to begin operations in August 2024.
The approval is a testament to our commitment to excellence in education and our dedication to providing top-tier facilities and resources for our students. We look forward to welcoming our first cohort of students to the Srinakrin Campus and embarking on this exciting new chapter together.
Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to open our doors and create a vibrant, dynamic learning community at Srinakrin Campus. Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm as we move forward with this exciting development.
START OF SUMMER SCHOOL

We're happy to share that our summer school has kicked off! On 12 June, we welcomed our students back and introduced them to our exciting theme for this summer: "From Pasture to Plate."
The first day was all about getting to know each other. Our students met new classmates from different schools and had fun with some simple activities in class. They also had a chance to chat with their teachers and share their thoughts.
For the next three weeks, our focus will be on understanding how food goes from being grown to being eaten. We'll cover important subjects like Languages, Maths, and Science, but all related to food. Each day, our students will have different activities and lessons to keep things interesting.
Our EY Group B had an amazing start to their summer class! On their first day, the young learners enthusiastically jumped into designing their very own activity books. This creative project allowed them to express their artistic side while getting familiar with the classroom environment.
Following this fun activity, the class discussed the proper writing of letters and words. The students practiced forming letters correctly, setting a solid foundation for their writing skills.
To wrap up their first day, the children tried their hand at spelling numbers. This activity not only helped reinforce their number recognition but also integrated their new writing skills.
In an engaging and interactive science class, our Primary Group A students explored the world of nutrition by discussing their favorite foods. Each student started by drawing their favorite food, showcasing their artistic talents and personal preferences.
After creating their drawings, the children took turns presenting their chosen foods to the class. They talked about why they liked their particular food and shared interesting facts about it.
The discussion then shifted to the nutritional value of these foods. Together, the class explored what vitamins and nutrients were present in each food and debated whether these choices were healthy or not. This activity not only enhanced their understanding of nutrition but also encouraged public speaking and critical thinking skills.
Our early-year students had a wonderful time during their first summer class activity this year—making healthy tortilla wraps! They were introduced to ingredients like beef, pork, cheese, lettuce, tortilla wraps, carrots, and mayo.
First, each student was given a tortilla wrap and they got to choose their fillings. Some students opted for beef and cheesy wraps, while others preferred a simpler filling like veggies and cheese. It was exciting to see them decide on their favorite combinations!
After choosing their fillings, the students folded their wraps and toasted them to perfection. They enjoyed every bite of their delicious creations and had a great time cooking together.
This activity taught them about healthy food choices and encouraged creativity and teamwork in the kitchen. We can't wait to see what other tasty adventures our early-year students will have this summer!
2024 ANNUAL FUNCTION
On 1 June, students, parents, and teachers of St. Mark’s gathered at the Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada to celebrate our annual function. This year's theme was "St. Mark’s Got Talent," which truly showed how talented our students are.
The event was full of exciting performances. Students sang beautiful songs, danced to lively music, acted in dramas, and displayed their art. There were also unique talents, such as solving Rubik's cubes quickly and performing taekwondo.
The audience enjoyed every moment, cheering and clapping for the performers. The day was fun for everyone, and filled with pride and joy. Seeing how much our students have learned and grown was a wonderful experience.
Thank you to everyone who made this event special. We are already looking forward to next year’s celebration!
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE (SEMESTER 2)

On 06 - 07 June, parents had the opportunity to meet with our teachers at school to learn about their child's progress during the past semester.
Our teachers discussed students' academic progress with parents and the social-emotional aspects of their development. Teachers had the chance to share advice with parents on how they can effectively support their child's learning.
It was a great day of meetings, providing an opportunity to hear, understand, and exchange points of view and vital information. Ultimately, this will benefit our students.
ART EXHIBITION

On Wednesday, 5 June, our art teacher prepared and displayed students' work in the parents' room. This gave everyone a chance to see the creative efforts of our students.
Each class visited the exhibition throughout the day. Students walked around, looking at the colorful paintings and detailed drawings. They were impressed by the talent and hard work of their classmates.
The exhibition was a great success. It was nice to see students enjoying the artwork together. Thank you to our art teacher for organizing this event and to our students for sharing their beautiful art.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
On 6 June, the last day of school, our students had a fun-filled day to celebrate! They enjoyed a small party with their teachers, sharing snacks, playing mini-games, and watching a movie.
This special event marked the end of the school year, allowing students to relax and have fun together. We are proud of all their hard work and achievements.
As we head into summer vacation, we wish all our students a wonderful break. Enjoy your time off, and we look forward to seeing you back on August 13 for the new academic year.
Have a great summer!
