Revised COVID Protocol
We would like to inform parents of a revision to our COVID protocol in the event that a
COVID case is detected at the school. The objective of this revised protocol is to try to balance between easing restrictions and ensuring that safety precautions are still observed among our school community.
Please find the revised protocol below:
1. If someone has a positive ATK result, we will require the person to conduct a RTPCR test within 24 hours to confirm this result.
2. If the person is confirmed to have Covid, the infected person must remain in isolation for at least 12 days from the first day of infection.
3. If the infected is a teacher or a student, all students in that particular class are considered close contacts and must practice self-isolation for 5 days to observe any development of Covid symptoms. Students will learn through online learning during this period.
4. Only the particular class involved with an infection will be required to stop learning for 5 days. On the 6th day, learning onsite will resume again.
We hope this revised protocol will strike a good balance between continuity of onsite
learning and the health safety of the St. Mark’s community.
If you have any questions, please contact the School Office or via the School LINE group.
