CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION & FUN FAIR
Last Saturday, our school came alive with the enchanting sounds of laughter, music, and the rhythmic beat of dancing feet as we celebrated our Christmas event that brought together students, parents, and teachers in a festive performance.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the dance performances by our talented students. From the early years to primary, our young performers graced the stage with enthusiasm, showcasing a medley of dance numbers that spread the Christmas cheer. The audience was treated to various dance styles, each performance telling its own unique story of the holiday season.
Adding a melodious touch to the festivities, our high school students took the stage with a heartwarming song number. The harmonious voices filled the air as they sang a classic Christmas tune.
Following the performances, the fun continued with our Christmas Fun Fair. Students and parents alike celebrated in the spirit of togetherness, participating in various games prepared by our students and teachers. From classic carnival games to festive challenges, there was something for everyone.
The joy was not only in the participation but also in the victory, as students walked away with a variety of prizes.
The success of this event was made possible by the collaborative efforts of our talented students, dedicated teachers, and supportive parents.
As we reflect on this memorable Saturday, let's carry the spirit of unity and joy into the upcoming holiday season. May the warmth and love experienced during our Christmas celebration resonate with every one of you, creating a festive atmosphere that extends beyond the school gates.

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE (SEMESTER 1)

On Friday, 15 December, parents had the opportunity to meet with our teachers at school to learn about their child's progress during the past semester.
Our teachers not only discussed students' academic progress with parents but also the social-emotional aspects of their development. Teachers had the chance to share advice with parents on how they can effectively support their child's learning.
It was a great day of meetings, providing an opportunity to hear, understand, and exchange points of view and vital information. Ultimately, this will benefit our students.
PREP PIANO: LISTENING PRACTICE
Our prep students are having a blast in their piano class! They kicked things off with some singing and dancing to lively tunes, creating a feel-good symphony together.
Then, it was time to sharpen their listening skills. The teacher played notes on the piano, and the students sang along, matching the pitches they heard. It's all about connecting what they hear to what they sing— like a musical conversation.
These activities go beyond just having fun; students are building a strong foundation for future musical adventures.
YEAR 6 THAI MUSIC: SROY SON TAT SONG
Our Year 6 students recently learned how to play the traditional tune "SROY SON TAT SONG" in their Thai music class. The classroom resonated with the rich sounds of ching, gap, and gong, as our students played the tune.
The students eagerly explored the unique sounds produced by these traditional instruments. The ching, with its shimmering jingles; the gap, offering a resonant beat; and the gong, contributing a deep and melodic tone—each instrument played a distinctive role in creating the enchanting melody of "SROY SON TAT SONG."
The teacher's guidance ensured that the students not only grasped the basics of playing these instruments but also appreciated the cultural significance behind the music.
YEAR 11 P.E.: BASKETBALL
Our Year 11 students are focused on honing their dribbling and shooting skills in their P.E. class.
The class kicked off with an emphasis on dribbling—a fundamental basketball skill. Students weaved and bobbed around the court, dribbling with finesse and precision. They showcased their control and agility, navigating through the court with confidence. The basketballs were soon flying through the air as students honed their shooting skills.
Beyond the physical workout, these class activities foster teamwork and coordination.
STUDENTS' WORKS
YEAR 1 SCIENCE: FUNCTION OF HUMAN BODY PARTS

In their Science class project, Year 1 students were tasked with drawing the various parts of their bodies and illustrating how they use these components in their everyday lives. The results are not only visually stunning but also offer a unique insight into the imaginative minds of our students.
YEAR 3 ENGLISH: THE RIVER IS DANGEROUS

In their English class, our Year 3 students have combined expressive drawings with clear cautionary signs to convey the potential dangers lurking in rivers.
The posters not only showcase the imaginative skills of our students but also serve as visual reminders to be cautious around riverbanks. From strong currents to hidden hazards, the illustrations vividly capture the reasons to approach rivers with care.
YEAR 5 ENGLISH: THE LIBYAN DISASTER

In their latest project, our Year 5 students wrote their independent summaries, showcasing a deep understanding of the Libyan Disaster.
The students coupled their insightful narratives with original illustrations, providing a visual interpretation of how they believe the Libyan Disaster unfolded. The combination of words and art creates a multi-dimensional exploration of this event.
