KINDER MATH : NUMBER 10
Our Kindergarten students have been on a numbers adventure. This week, their focus was on the number 10. Students count aloud from 1 to 10. It was like a mini counting concert. From fingers to toes, everything got a count, and the energy was contagious.
Now, onto the fun stuff, our Kindergarten students got their hands on some paper and practiced writing the number 10. But that's not all; they also counted the cute objects in the boxes, making learning feel like a playful puzzle.
Our little learners brought the classroom to life with their energy. Laughter echoed as they huddled around worksheets, mastering the art of the perfect "10" and giggling through their counting adventures.
YEAR 2 THAI : SPELLING & READING
In our Year 2 Thai class, students have been immersing themselves in the art of reading, turning their Thai class into a realm of discovery and learning. They have been tackling scenarios about visiting the hospital, exploring what happens when they meet doctors. They read about these everyday adventures, learning how to articulate their feelings and symptoms to the friendly doctors in the stories.
Our Year 2 students are also practicing spelling the words related to hospital visits. Spelling out symptoms and medical terms that will surely come in handy. What makes this journey even more special is how our Year 2 students aren't just reading words; they are stepping into the shoes of the characters in their stories. Through these scenarios, they're learning the language in a way that's not just educational but also incredibly practical.
STUDENTS' SHOWCASE 1
YEAR 4 THAI MUSIC
Our talented Year 4 students stole the spotlight at the recent Student Showcase, mesmerizing both students and parents alike. The stage came alive with the enchanting sounds of Kim performing "Lao-Joy & Kulab Veng Ping Song", Tueng Kong and Jean Jai Yor Song resonating from the drums, and the melodious tones of the Anglong during the captivating "Bu Rung Ka Ka Song."
Divided into groups, each dedicated student mastered their respective instruments, creating a harmonious symphony that transported the audience to the heart of Thai musical traditions.
Parents in the audience were treated to an unforgettable experience, witnessing not only the rich cultural heritage of Thailand but also the dedication and talent of their Year 4 children. The passion for music and commitment to mastering traditional instruments added a unique and vibrant dimension to the Student Showcase.
YEAR 5 MANDARIN: STORYTELLING
In a linguistic spectacle that showcased both proficiency and creativity, our Year 5 students took the stage at the recent Student Showcase to demonstrate their Mandarin speaking skills. Each student was tasked with choosing a topic from the board and sharing insightful information about it.
Our students delved into a diverse array of topics that left the audience in awe. Parents were treated to a linguistic feast as Year 5 students confidently navigated through their chosen subjects, seamlessly blending language proficiency with a genuine passion for their chosen topics. The showcase not only highlighted their Mandarin speaking abilities but also showcased their ability to think on their feet and communicate effectively in a second language.
YEAR 6 MATHS: EQUIVALENT FRACTIONS AND RATIOS
At our recent Student Showcase, Year 6 students demonstrated their grasp of mathematics by tackling problems related to equivalent fractions and ratios. Each student was assigned a specific problem, and they took the opportunity to explain their solutions to the audience.
From breaking down equivalent fractions to demystifying ratios, the students walked through their problem-solving steps in a clear and straightforward manner. Parents and spectators were able to witness firsthand how our Year 6 students not only solve mathematical problems but also articulate their thought processes effectively.
The showcase highlighted the students' ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts in a simple and understandable way.
YEAR 7 SCIENCE: CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
During the recent Student Showcase, our Year 7 students took the opportunity to break down the complexities of how our bodies circulate blood, keeping things straightforward and relatable.
Through simple presentations, demonstrations, and some creative visuals, our students explained the ins and outs of the circulatory system in a way that's easy to grasp. No frills, just a genuine effort to share what they've learned. You'll find a mix of models and diagrams, showcasing their understanding of how our hearts pump blood and how it travels through arteries, veins, and capillaries.
YEAR 8 CHEMISTRY: CHROMATOGRAPHY
In the spotlight of our recent Student Showcase, our Year 8 students took center stage to demystify the intriguing world of chromatography. Far from a scientific enigma, they embarked on a mission to share the simplicity and wonder behind this fascinating technique.
What is Chromatography? Chromatography, as our students explain it, is like a colorful detective game played by molecules. It's a method used to separate and identify different components within a mixture, revealing their unique characteristics. Now, you might be wondering how our young scientists brought this concept to life.
The Live Demonstration: Making Chromatography Tangible During the showcase, our Year 8 students didn't just talk the talk; they walked you through a live demonstration. Imagine it as a science experiment made easy, right before your eyes. With readily available materials, they showcased how chromatography can unveil the hidden secrets of substances, separating pigments and creating vibrant patterns.

YEAR 8 & 9 ENGLISH: EXPLORING CHARACTERS IN "TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD"
In a captivating display of literary exploration, our Year 8 and 9 students brought the pages of "To Kill a Mockingbird" to life at the recent English Showcase. With a focus on character study, students donned carefully crafted costumes to portray characters from the iconic novel.
The highlight of the showcase was a unique interview format, where an enthusiastic interviewer posed questions to the students in character, unraveling the intricate details of pivotal incidents from the book. The students, fully immersed in their roles, responded with depth and authenticity, providing the audience with a compelling insight into the characters and the story.
The attention to detail in the costumes and the commitment to staying true to their characters truly impressed the audience. Parents enjoyed a dynamic and engaging performance as our Year 8 and 9 students skillfully navigated the complexities of the characters they portrayed.

THE 3RD BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ARTS PIANO COMPETITION 2023

We're thrilled to announce that Mira (Y2), one of our outstanding students, has achieved a remarkable feat at the recent 3rd Bangkok International Performance Arts Piano Competition 2023, securing not one but two esteemed Gold Awards.
Mira's exceptional talent and commitment to her craft shone in both the Open Category and Alfred's Level 4-5 Category. In the Open Category, her performance not only displayed technical brilliance but also a profound emotional connection to the music, earning her a well-deserved Gold Award.
Navigating the challenges of the Alfreds Level 4-5 Category, Mira demonstrated grace and skill, surpassing expectations and solidifying her status as a rising star in the world of piano performance.
Congratulations to Mira on this outstanding achievement! Her success brings pride to our school and serves as an inspiration to aspiring young musicians in our community.
BANGKOK KPNP OPEN TAEKWONDO INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

We are delighted to share the outstanding news that Aunpan from Year 1, has achieved a significant milestone by securing the Silver Medal at the recent Taekwondo International Championship 2023 in Bangkok. The competition, held at Fashion Island, saw Phannawit competing in the Kyorugi C_5-6 Years category, Male D-22Kg.
This commendable accomplishment becomes even more impressive considering the intense level of competition. A total of 1,269 applicants vied for victory in various categories at the Bangkok KPNP Open Taekwondo International Championship 2023.
Aunpan's dedication, discipline, and skill were on full display during the competition, earning him the Silver Medal in his weight class. His journey in the Kyorugi C_5-6 Years category showcased not only his technical prowess but also his sportsmanship and resilience.
We extend our sincere congratulations to Aunpan for this remarkable achievement. His success serves as an inspiration to his peers and a testament to the high standards of sportsmanship and skill cultivated within our school.
