KINDER ART CLASS: PAINTING WITH SPONGE
When it comes to sponge painting, it is always a favourite activity to create art, and a perfect activity for young children. Recently our Kindergarten students were given the opportunity to use their free imagination to draw, colour and express themselves through this simple art. The process of painting itself also helps with their eye-hand coordination, an essential part of their motor-skill development.
YEAR 2 SOSE: INTERNATIONAL CURRENCIES
In this week's SOSE class, Year 2 had the opportunity to learn about international currencies. To make the lesson come alive, the students were presented with the banknotes and/or coins of various countries for them to see and touch. In this activity, after the students became more familiar with those currencies, they were able to point out a currency from a specific country. They also examined and identified some features of the currency they were holding. By understanding different currencies, the students would see that different countries have different money. This will help prepare them when they go abroad for a holiday.
YEAR 5 ENGLISH: LETTER WRITING
Our Year Five students have been writing letters during their English classes as they are learning the power of a three-paragraph template. The task was to create a hypothetical company offering some kind of random service or product and then attempt to sell this to the decision-makers in charge of the new Srinakarin Campus.
As you can see the students successfully used some exciting persuasive language as they offered a variety of services and goods including waterproof paper, a private monorail, plush sound-absorbing carpet for the offices, and even a selection of garden gnomes to make the children happy

YEAR 6 SCIENCE: ELASTIC SPRING FORCE
Year 6 students investigated in their Science class how a spring behaves and the type of force it exerts on objects that compress or stretch. They experimented with the behaviour of a spring as it was stretched in this activity. They conducted thorough observations and obtained results that they compared to their predictions. They also deduced the various uses of spring after their experiment.
YEAR 9 ENGLISH: INVENTORS AND INVENTIONS
Our Year 9 students read up on the IGCSE lesson about inventors and inventions with a listening exercise about James Bond’s gadget master “Q”.
The students had to listen to a conversation between Bond and Q and answer comprehension questions.
