IGCSE ACHIEVEMENT - JUNE 2022
In the recent Cambridge International examination in June 2022, we are pleased to announce the accomplishment of our students.
Despite a very challenging year with lockdowns and online learning, our students have secured very good results. This outcome accentuates the consistent focus on academic excellence at St. Mark’s International School.

KINDERGARTEN THAI: LEARNING THE ALPHABETS
St. Mark believes in the importance of learning languages from a very young age. Daily exposure to language learning enables our students to master the language taught. This is reflected in our students' results in standardized exams such as the IGCSE, where our students frequently received top scores for the language assessments they undertook.
YEAR 1 ARTS: HERE IS A BOX
We have coordinated our Art lesson to reflect what students have been working on in their English lessons. Students in Year 1 have been reading “Here is a Box” and in Arts, they had a chance to work on their craft skills, making their own creations from recycled materials from homes.
YEAR 4 MANDARIN: READING PRACTICE
During this week's Mandarin class, Year 4 students had the opportunity to take turns reading sentences in Mandarin. Most of our students are fluent in their reading skills and at the same time, they have a good understanding of what they read.
YEAR 8 PHYSICS: MEASUREMENT OF LENGTH, AREA, AND VOLUME
This week our students in Year 8 had the opportunity to explore their laboratory skills in measurement and area calculation. In this activity, the objective is to teach students how to use various measuring apparatus with care and accuracy when conducting their reading measurements.
Students were given various tasks to use measuring tapes to measure the length and width of the Laboratory room. They used the measurements obtained to work out the area and volume of the room.
