TEACHER'S EVALUATION FORM
As we approach the end of another academic year, it is an appropriate time to reflect on our teaching staff’s standard in delivering their lessons to our students.
This week, we have sent to parents our Teachers’ Evaluation Form. Your response to this form is essential for us in maintaining and improving the educational standard we deliver to our students.
SCHOOL REPORT AND PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE

St. Mark’s will be holding our second-semester Parent-Teacher Conference on Friday, 10 June 2022. The conference will provide opportunities for parents to communicate with your child/children’s teachers regarding your child’s academic, social and physical development over this past school year. As students’ success in education depends on good cooperation between school and home, we value the chance to exchange feedback with parents and how to best manage each student’s progress.
The detail of your conference time and venue will be as follows: Timely arrival is encouraged to ensure that we have adequate time for each family.
Students with Last Names starting with:
A – K 8:00 am – 9:15 am
L – R 9:30 am – 10:45 am
Q – Z 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
It is our school policy that only parents will be allowed to attend the Conference, so it is important for parents to arrange to have your child/children stay at home. If you will not be able to attend the Conference, please notify the School Office by sending a reply to parent@stmarks.ac.th or through Line by Friday, 3 June.
After 4.30 pm on Thursday, 9 June the School Office will upload your child’s School Report under “My School Report” in the Parent Portal. It will be to your benefit to read the Report prior to attending our Conference, as this will prepare parents what to expect at the Conference. At the same time, reading the report prior to attending the Conference will enable parents to understand on what needs to be asked or communicated to our teachers.
Parents of primary and secondary students also have the privilege to view their child/children’s past test papers and examination papers by clicking on “My Assessment History” in the Parent Portal.
Please note that you will be given a signed copy of the report on the day of the conference. All electronic reports are deemed unofficial.
Please note that Pre-Prep and Prep Parent-Teacher Conference will be held on Friday, 22 July.
Please note that the conferences will mark the end of this semester. Classes for our new academic year will start on Monday, 8 August 2022.

UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY TASTER SERIES FOR OUR SECONDARY STUDENTS

This round, we are delighted to invite our upper secondary students in Year 9 - 12 to join an upcoming Undergraduate Taster Series presented by the University of Sydney this Saturday, May 28th, This will suit any of our Upper Secondary students who might be interested in exploring and experiencing university sessions conducted by world-renowned professors and educators, free of charge. The series of real-time online demonstration classes are an excellent opportunity for our students to get a unique first-hand experience of being a student at the University of Sydney.
By registering, our students can select from a range of subjects of interest and join as many sessions as they prefer. The taster classes will include contents from all faculties and schools, which will be presented by world-class academics.

2022 - 2023 SCHOOL CALENDAR
PREP P.E
Run, crawl and cheer with our Prep students in their P.E class. It is just another enjoyable day for them to share laughter and excitement with their classmates and teacher.
YEAR 2 MANDARIN: LITTLE SNOWMEN
Year 2 students performed the song "Little Snowmen" in their Mandarin class and they also reviewed some words and sentences about the weather through an interactive game.
ST. MARK'S ACHIEVER


It is our pleasure to share the good news about Natchayathorn Warawet, our Year 8 student, receiving a Gold Award (second runner-up) and 5,000 Baht cash, from Dr. Kalaya Sophonpanich, Deputy Minister of Education, for winning the 10th Thailand Mathematics Contest (TMC). The awarding ceremony was held at the Government Complex Building in Chaengwattana on 15 May 2022.
