INTERNATIONAL DAY 2025: CELEBRATING DIVERSITY
On October 10, our school community came together to celebrate our International Day 2025, themed “Celebrating Diversity.”
It was a wonderful day filled with fun, learning, and cultural appreciation as students showcased their chosen countries through songs and dances. Each performance highlighted the beauty of different traditions and the enthusiasm of our students in embracing cultures from around the world.
After the performances, students and parents enjoyed a room-to-room cultural tour, visiting classrooms that had been creatively transformed into representations of various countries. Each room offered unique experiences where visitors could learn about the nation’s history, customs, and lifestyle. Our students and teachers showed remarkable dedication in decorating their rooms and preparing interactive activities for everyone to enjoy.
The celebration continued with a lively Food Festival, where families shared a wide array of dishes representing cuisines from their chosen countries. The food not only delighted everyone’s taste buds but also reflected the diverse backgrounds and traditions within our school community.
This year, we were also honored to have a panel of judges who evaluated the performances, cuisines, classroom setups, and traditional attire. Every team displayed creativity and effort, making the competition exciting and inspiring.
🏆 Congratulations to Our Winners!

YEAR 2 ART: STUFFED TOYS
Our creative Year 2 students had an exciting time in Art class making their very own cut-out stuffed toys! Each student designed and drew their favorite character, from cuddly bears to speedy rockets and more, then carefully cut the fabric to match their designs.
They learned how to stuff and sew their creations all by themselves, turning their drawings into adorable handmade toys. The classroom was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of creativity as they proudly brought their characters to life!
ROTC TRAINING

We are proud to see our students officially wearing their ROTC uniforms for the first time! This marks the beginning of their real training journey as they learn the values of discipline, responsibility, and teamwork through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program.
Our students are ready to take on challenges, build leadership skills, and serve as excellent role models for their peers.
Congratulations to our young cadets as they embark on this meaningful and rewarding journey!

SHOWCASES THAI FLUTE IN CULTURAL EXCHANGE AT LIAONING SHENYANG

Bringing pride to Thailand once again, Master Asawongrat Asrangchai (Kevin), a 14-year-old student from St. Mark’s Australian International School, has continued to shine in cultural exchange and youth excellence. Kevin was selected as both a Provincial and National Cultural Youth Ambassador in 2023, and was chosen for the “Young Smart Young Do Good” project organized by the Ministry of Culture in both 2022 and 2023 at the provincial level, and at the national level in 2024.
Kevin recently had the honor of representing Thai youth in a cultural exchange in Liaoning, Shenyang, where he performed with a traditional Thai flute. He played two songs — “Mali”, composed by Teacher Earth (Narapath Phabranjongjit), and “Kha Nam Nom” (Mother’s Love), a timeless classic expressing gratitude to mothers. Kevin concluded his performance with a short speech in Chinese, impressing the audience and promoting Thai culture with grace and pride.
Beyond his performance, Kevin was also invited to visit a traditional Chinese calligraphy school, where he experienced first-hand the beauty of cultural friendship between Thailand and China. He had the rare opportunity to meet and learn from Master Lao Han (老韩老师) — a disciple of the legendary Teacher Shi Ru (师如), one of the “Nine Moons of Liaoning,” revered for over six decades in the art of Chinese calligraphy.
The host school warmly welcomed the Thai delegation, and Master Lao Han presented Kevin with two personally written calligraphy scrolls — a gesture of high honor, as the master had not gifted his calligraphy to anyone for many years.
The inscriptions read:
“天涯若比邻” — Even if we are at the edge of the world, it feels as though we are near.
“海内存知己” — Though separated by seas, true friendship remains within the heart.
This exchange was not only an artistic and cultural honor but also a meaningful lesson in friendship, respect, and mutual understanding. Kevin’s experience demonstrated how genuine friendship transcends distance through sincerity, cultural appreciation, and open-minded learning. His visit was also featured in Chinese media, marking another proud moment of Thai cultural representation abroad.
